IESO Receives ENERGY STAR Award

The IESO has been awarded the 2023 Special Recognition ENERGY STAR Award – presented by Natural Resources Canada – for its outstanding contributions to helping individuals and businesses in Ontario achieve greater energy efficiency.
Since 2011, through Save on Energy, the IESO has provided energy-efficiency opportunities and resources to more than 250,000 homes and businesses, which have completed more than 80 million energy-efficiency measures. From an action as simple as changing a single light bulb to an activity as complex as a full building retrofit, Save on Energy delivers value for program participants, the ratepayers of Ontario and the provincial electricity system.
