Shaping the Future of the Electricity System at the Association of Municipalities of Ontario Conference

The IESO will be onsite at the Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO) conference from August 20-23 to discuss the ongoing energy transformation and the IESO’s role within it. The IESO’s executive leaders and members of the community engagement team are looking forward to hearing community perspectives on critical issues such as decarbonization, infrastructure development and electricity planning.
These are the three ways to interact with the IESO at the conference:
- Listen-in to the plenary address by Lesley Gallinger, President and CEO, on Monday at 3 p.m.
- Attend the learning lunch (“Managing Growth: Energy Perspectives for Communities”) with Carla Y. Nell, Vice-President, Corporate Relations, Stakeholder Engagement and Innovation and Chuck Farmer, Vice President, Planning, Conservation and Resource Adequacy on Tuesday at 11:45 a.m.
- Visit the Regional and Community Engagement team at the IESO booth in the exhibit hall
