Transmission Rights Clearing Account Disbursement
December 8, 2022
Participants withdrawing energy from the IESO-administered market will see a payment from the Transmission Rights Clearing Account (TRCA) on the November 30 preliminary settlement statement and November 2022 invoice, to be issued on December 14. Funds from the clearing account will be credited using charge type 102 'TR Clearing Account Credit.’
The total amount of this disbursement will be $131,101,678.45 and will be split into two classes – loads and exporters. This disbursement will be split based on the proportion of total provincial transmission service charges and total export transmission service charges collected from the market between May 2022 and October 2022. The proportion of transmission costs paid over the latest TRCA balance period are: 98.58 per cent for the Provincial Transmission Service Charge, 1.42 per cent for the Export Transmission Service Charge.
Market participants will receive their pro-rata share of funds allocated to their respective class based on the total allocated quantity of energy withdrawn for loads, and the scheduled quantity of energy for exporters, over the last six months (June 2022 to November 2022). More information is available on the Transmission Rights Market web page.
