East Lake Superior Integrated Regional Resource Plan posted

The East Lake Superior Integrated Regional Resource Plan (IRRP) is now available. The plan considers electricity demand and supply conditions over the next 20 years, and identifies electricity system needs specifically related to reliability. Some of these needs are expected to be addressed through operational transmission solutions, while other needs identified in the area will be considered at as part of a broader bulk system study that the IESO will be commencing later this year. Additional details about the study scope, engagement details and the East Lake Superior electricity planning region, is available in the report. The IRRP appendices will be published in mid-April.
