Technical Panel market rule amendment determinations

The Technical Panel is requesting feedback on two market rule amendment packages.
- June 2020 Capacity Auction: The four proposals included in this package will enable implementation of a capacity auction that represents an evolution of the demand response auction and the proposed transitional capacity auction
- Minor Amendment Omnibus: This proposal makes minor – or non-material – amendments to market rules, including corrections to defined terms, references and typographical errors
Stakeholders can provide comments by emailing engagement@ieso.ca by February 19. The amendments are posted on the proposed market rule amendment web page.
Additionally, the Technical Panel voted to recommend its revised Terms of Reference to the IESO Board for consideration at its February meeting.
