Input sought for long-term regional energy planning for Toronto
May 16, 2019
The IESO is hosting a community engagement meeting to solicit input on Toronto’s emerging and long-term electricity requirements, and discuss how the existing electricity infrastructure is expected to accommodate Toronto’s anticipated growth over the next several years.
The outcomes from this meeting will help ensure that the IESO is better prepared to develop an integrated regional resource plan that supports local goals and contributes to the growth and development of the city.
The meeting will be held on May 22, from 1 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. at the Chelsea Hotel, Toronto. To register to attend in person, email engagement@ieso.ca. Register online to participate by webinar.
More information about the regional electricity planning process is on the IESO website as is information on Toronto regional planning and the Toronto IRRP engagement initiative.
