East Ontario Regional Electricity Forum draft agenda available

The draft agenda for the East Ontario Regional Electricity Forum – Connected Communities: Working together to plan Ontario’s electricity future – to be held in Kingston on March 21, is now available.

Focused on local initiatives and community discussions, the event will feature topics such as: 

  • Aligning regional and local energy planning – Panelists will bring the perspectives of municipalities, First Nations communities and local distribution companies to the examination of how community energy planning contributes to broader provincial planning.

  • Connected communities – Discussions will encourage all perspectives on community-based approaches to meeting energy needs.

The Forum will welcome speakers from St. Lawrence College, Utilities Kingston, the City of Ottawa and Cambium Aboriginal.
