Capacity Exports Online IESO user guide available soon

The IESO is pleased to announce that the Enabling Capacity Exports initiative is moving forward with implementation scheduled for November 14, 2018. Capacity Exports allow Ontario generators with capacity not required for Ontario’s reliability requirements to earn revenue by exporting the capacity to other jurisdictions.
All applicable market manuals have been updated and posted on the Pending Changes webpage. A guide, outlining the process for submitting a capacity export request in Online IESO will be posted on the training webpage and engagement webpage before implementation on November 14.
