2017 Compliance Monitoring Plan

The 2017 Market Assessment and Compliance Division (MACD) Compliance Monitoring Plan identifies the priority areas that MACD will focus on in 2017 in monitoring compliance with reliability standards. It also provides insights into the discovery methods that MACD will use to assess market participants’ compliance with these reliability standards. This plan is addressed to all market participants with facilities registered with the IESO, including those participants that meet the applicability criteria set out in Market Manual 11, Reliability Compliance, Part 11.1 Applicability Criteria for Compliance with NERC Reliability Standards and NPCC Criteria.
