Provincial Energy Manager Program Development Update - Sector Based Energy Managers

The IESO is seeking input on a proposed provincial Energy Manager Program aimed at promoting the availability of energy managers to help support the objectives of the Province's 2015 to 2020 Conservation First Framework. The IESO has proposed a design that offers support for various market sectors, where needed, to realize energy savings opportunities and to support the development of a culture of conservation in Ontario. This proposed program will complement other energy market initiatives offered by local distribution companies (LDCs).
The IESO is seeking feedback on the expected scope of work and proposed funding schedule associated to funding Sector Based Energy Managers through a proposed Sector Based Energy Efficiency Program. Documents on these details will be posted to the engagement page tomorrow. These documents were influenced by past stakeholder feedback given through the engagement.
Interested parties are requested to please submit feedback by email to engagement@ieso.ca by December 14. The IESO will collect and assess all feedback received. The feedback along with the IESO’s response will be posted by early January.
