Update - Gas-Electric alignment

Earlier this year, the Gas-Electric Coordination Enhancements stakeholder engagement came to a close. The initiative was first established to seek input on proposed enhancements to the communication and coordination efforts with natural gas generators in Ontario and natural gas pipeline companies.
At its last meeting on January 20, the IESO committed to continue monitoring gas-electric coordination and operations. The IESO also announced a plan to issue an RFP to inform the IESO on opportunities and challenges associated with the alignment of DACP and gas market timeframes. The vendor selected by the IESO, Workbench Corp, will be reaching out to stakeholders in the coming weeks to gather information, and the IESO encourages those contacted to participate in this process.
