The deadline to provide feedback on an IESO study paper on more frequent scheduling at the interties is Tuesday, October 22. Feedback can be submitted via email to engagement@ieso.ca.

The IESO launched the stakeholder engagement to inform its research on the benefits and implications of more frequent scheduling of intertie transactions (imports and exports) in the IESO-administered markets. These transactions are currently scheduled in Ontario on an hourly basis. Scheduling intertie transactions more frequently could improve the efficiency of the market, support operations and increase alignment with neighbouring markets.
