The IESO is engaging on the proposed Long Lead-Time Resource procurement. This procurement is part of the IESO’s broader Resource Adequacy Framework – an enduring approach to identifying the type of acquisition activity to use to resolve system needs. The framework contemplates a multi-pronged approach to secure resources, generally based on the length of the contract term.
The Long Lead-Time Resource Procurement engagement plan outlines the objectives, approach, timeline and considerations for engaging stakeholders and conducting outreach to other targeted audiences throughout the development of the procurement This engagement plan may be subject to review and updates as the process evolves.
