This engagement update provides a snapshot of all active IESO engagement activities and is updated on a monthly basis. It helps support a greater understanding of linkages between engagements, and a foundation for more comprehensive and integrated updates.

IESO will continue discussions around design and implementation related to the 2022 Capacity Auction enhancements including a walkthrough of the supporting draft market rule and manual amendments as well as an update on the Long-Term RFP.
The IESO will engage stakeholders with a quarterly update on solutions for practical issues that arise when implementing Market Renewal, covering Reference Levels for Pseudo Units, and integration of Storage design.
IESO will present the Enabling Resources Work Plan outlining the timing and scope of work it will undertake to further integrate emerging resources in the IESO-Administered Markets, including hybrid generation-storage, storage, and Distributed Energy Resources.
The IESO will discuss stakeholder feedback received following the September meeting, and present the final Foundational Participation Models for Hybrid resources, including modelling changes to the single resource model. With the identification of the foundational models now complete, the IESO will share information about the start of the design phase of the project, and discuss next steps to determine design feedback.
