Market Renewal Transition

The transition to the renewed wholesale electricity market will begin on Wednesday, April 30, 2025. Over this period, the IESO will, step-by-step, launch a day-ahead market to complement a renewed real-time market and implement locational marginal pricing at more than a thousand locations across the province.
