The theme of this year’s Symposium is Planning for Success: Energy Solutions for First Nation Communities. Attendees will gain valuable insights from speakers that are active in the Indigenous energy space on how to keep their energy projects and initiatives on track and moving forward. We'll also be sharing the latest updates on IESO initiatives and programs. The session topics include:

Indigenous women and youth building community capacity
Indigenous energy project case studies
Energy efficiency, regional electricity planning and IESO procurements
Building community capacity through certifications and training
Community Energy Champion panel discussion

This year marks the 6th edition of the First Nations Energy Symposium. As with previous Symposia, the IESO looks forward to gathering with representatives from First Nation communities and organizations across Ontario to build energy capacity. The 2022 Symposium will be a great opportunity for communities to ask energy-related questions, share experiences and learn from other attendees.
