IESO Annual Cold Weather Preparedness Survey for Generators and Transmitters

In preparation for the upcoming winter season, the IESO will conduct its annual Cold Weather Preparedness Survey in coordination with generation and transmission facilities. Severe cold weather conditions can present operational challenges that may affect the IESO’s ability to maintain reliable system operations. The data collected through this survey will support planning efforts to ensure the continued reliability of grid operations throughout the winter period. A survey link will be distributed via email to the relevant market participants.
The IESO is requesting owners and/or operators of generation and transmission facilities to complete this year’s survey by October 30.
