New Webinar for Toronto's Local Achievable Potential Study

August 7, 2025

Toronto is growing and electricity planning is underway to identify what actions need to be taken to ensure a reliable supply of electricity to the city. To support this ongoing evaluation, the IESO is conducting a Local Achievable Potential Study (L-APS). The results from the L-APS will be used to inform the Toronto Integrated Regional Reource Plan’s (IRRP) recommendations regarding using additional energy efficiency, load flexibility and customer-sited solar and storage programs to reduce or delay electricity needs.

The L-APS webinar is scheduled for Thursday, August 21 at 10 a.m. During this webinar, the IESO will share the draft L-APS findings, seek feedback and answer questions. Materials will be available ahead of the meeting. All participants are asked to register in advance.
