New Overview Webinars on the Renewed Market

As preparations continue for the renewed market, market participants that are not already familiar with the renewed market are invited to join a series of webinars designed to provide an overview of the changes taking place.
Three webinars will be offered for consumers, suppliers, and traders to provide a high-level overview of changes resulting from market renewal.
- April 3, 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. – Consumer registration (large industrial, price-responsive and dispatchable loads as well as local distribution companies)
- April 4, 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. – Supplier registration (self-scheduling, variable, hydroelectric and combined cycle natural gas resources)
- April 10, 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. – Intertie trader and Transmission Rights Auction participants registration
IESO will also be hosting a webinar in mid-April focusing on final preparations for the launch of the renewed market and what to expect during the cutover. This webinar will give market participants and service providers an opportunity to ask questions before launch. Event details will be shared soon.
