Indigenous Energy Support Program Intake Window Now Open

The IESO’s Indigenous Energy Support Program (IESP) is providing up to $15 million for Indigenous energy planning, infrastructure development and education. All First Nations and Métis communities in Ontario are eligible to apply to support energy-related projects and initiatives until August 30, 2024.
By helping to promote Indigenous leadership in the energy sector, the IESP represents one part of the IESO’s commitment to economic reconciliation and enduring relationships with Indigenous Peoples. These relationships are especially important as the energy transformation picks up speed and First Nations and Métis communities become equitable partners that bring essential knowledge, experiences and perspectives to energy projects.
