Technical Panel Meeting and Call for Nominations

The Technical Panel will meet on February 13 to vote on whether to recommend the Market Rule amendments associated with the Transmission Rights Market Enhancements for Board approval. The meeting will also include updates and discussion related to the Market Renewal Program on the Market and System Operations Batch, Market Power Mitigation and Settlements and the Final Alignment Batch. Meeting materials are now available on the Technical Panel webpage. To register as an observer, email engagement@ieso.ca.
The IESO is also seeking a qualified candidate to fill a current vacancy on the panel representing Market Participant Consumers. The representative will provide technical advice as it relates to initiatives such as the IESO Capacity Auction Enhancements, the Market Renewal Program and other electricity-related Market Rule amendments.
You may nominate yourself or someone else. When submitting a nomination, please include information about the nominee’s knowledge of Ontario’s electricity sector and the constituency they represent, along with a resumé and signed Declaration of Nominee. All nominations must be submitted to engagement@ieso.ca by February 13, 2024.
