Call for Nominations - Technical Panel

The IESO Technical Panel is seeking qualified candidates to fill two vacancies: one representative for Market Participants with the Generator community and one representative for Energy Related Businesses and Service, which may include electricity traders/wholesalers, aggregators and members of the innovation, research, smart grid, conservation and financial communities.
The Technical Panel reviews amendments to market rules for initiatives such as the Capacity Auction and Market Renewal Program and, as requested, provides advice to the IESO’s Board of Directors on technical issues relating to the operation of IESO-administered markets. Members of the Technical Panel are appointed by the IESO Board and serve a three-year term with the opportunity to be reappointed for a second term.
You may nominate yourself or someone else. When submitting a nomination, please include information about the nominee’s knowledge of Ontario’s electricity sector and the constituency they represent, along with a resume and signed Declaration of Nominee. All nominations must be submitted to engagement@ieso.ca by January 9, 2024.
