Technical Panel Call for Nominations

The IESO is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a Technical Panel member vacancy representing Market Participants within the Generator community. The representative will provide technical advice as it relates to initiatives such as the IESO Capacity Auction Enhancements, the Market Renewal Program and other electricity-related Market Rule amendments.
The Technical Panel reviews amendments to Market Rules and, as requested, provides advice to the IESO Board of Directors on technical issues relating to the operation of the IESO-administered markets. Members of the Technical Panel are appointed by the IESO Board and serve a three-year term with the opportunity to be reappointed for a second three-year term.
You may nominate yourself or someone else. When submitting a nomination, please include information about the nominee’s knowledge of Ontario’s electricity sector and the constituency they represent, along with a resume and signed Declaration of Nominee. All nominations must be submitted to engagement@ieso.ca by October 26, 2023.
