Call for Nominations - Technical Panel

The IESO is seeking up to two qualified candidates to fill Technical Panel member vacancies representing two constituencies: one representative for Market Participants within the Demand Response community who can provide technical advice as it relates to initiatives such as the IESO Capacity Auction Enhancements and the Market Renewal Program; and one under the representation of Energy Related Businesses and Service. Examples of this representation may include electricity traders/wholesalers, aggregators and members of the innovation, research, smart grid, conservation and financial communities.
The Technical Panel reviews amendments to Market Rules and, as requested, provides advice to the IESO Board of Directors on technical issues relating to the operation of the IESO-administered markets. Members of the Technical Panel are appointed by the IESO Board and serve a three-year term with the opportunity to be reappointed for a second three-year term.
You may nominate yourself or someone else. When submitting a nomination, please include information about the nominee’s knowledge of Ontario’s electricity sector and the constituency they represent, along with a resume and signed Declaration of Nominee. All nominations must be submitted to engagement@ieso.ca by September 14, 2023.
