2017 Stakeholder Summit

The IESO is pleased to announce that it will hold a Stakeholder Summit on June 12, 2017, at the Beanfield Centre in Toronto.

Ontario’s electricity system is undergoing a transformation in the way that electricity is generated, procured and consumed. The role of distributed energy networks and decarbonization will have impacts on how the system is operated in real time and planned for in the longer term. This full-day summit will bring together industry experts from across North America to get perspectives on how other jurisdictions are approaching their own shifting energy landscapes, as well as to explore the future direction of Ontario’s electricity system.

In conjunction with the stakeholder summit, the IESO will host a series of regional forums throughout Ontario to facilitate dialogues on province-wide, regional and local energy issues. These sessions will take place in Thunder Bay, Sudbury, London and Ottawa in the late Summer and Fall 2017. Dates and details will be provided as they are confirmed.
