With agreement from stakeholders, the IESO is proposing to change the annual October 1 deadline for Market Participants to submit 10-year data used for reliability assessments, including those required to meet NERC and NPCC obligations. The intention is to defer Market Participants' submissions due on October 1, 2012 to March 1, 2013, and then to have a March 1 deadline thereafter. Having a March 1 annual deadline will ensure there is sufficient time for the IESO to prepare and conduct the necessary studies using the submitted data. Stakeholders were surveyed about the proposed change as part of SE-99, Changes to Reliability Assessments Information Requirements - Market Manual 2.8. Feedback received is posted on the SE-99 page: http://www.ieso.ca/imoweb/consult/consult_se99.asp. The document is proposed to come into effect on June 29, 2012, in advance of Baseline 28.0. Redlined versions of Market Manual 2.8 and the related forms, IMO-FORM-1223 and IMO-FORM-1494, are posted on the Change Notification page: http://www.ieso.ca/imoweb/changes/changeNoticeList.asp. Email comments by June 20, 2012 to pending.changes@ieso.ca. The changes also seek to clarify that Transmitters, Generators, and Connection Applicants are required to submit 10-year reliability assessment information, while Wholesale Consumers and Distributors are not.
