How to Report or Self-Report Instances of Non-Compliance

Market participants may self-report their possible non-compliance with the IESO’s Market Rules using the self-reporting tool accessible through Online IESO. The Non-Compliance Event Reporting Tool User Guide can be referenced for instructions on how to self report.

To self-report their possible non-compliance with NERC reliability standards, market participants may use the Reliability Compliance Tool.

Groups or individuals who suspect a market participant or the IESO are not compliant with the Market Rules, can report such instances, on a confidential basis, by submitting a Non-Compliance Event Report to MACD at MACD@ieso.ca.

MACD may ask parties that submit a self-report or complaint to provide additional information about their submission.
