Posting of Final Scoping Assessment and Terms of Reference for Ottawa Region

A final Scoping Assessment Outcome Report for the Greater Ottawa Region and Terms of Reference for the Ottawa Area Integrated Regional Resource Plan (IRRP) is now posted on the IESO’s website. The finalization of the document follows a two week comment period, responses to comments received are also posted.
As mandated by the Ontario Energy Board, the IESO is required to work collaboratively with Local Distribution Companies and Transmitters to complete a Scoping Assessment Outcome Report as part of the regional planning process. With needs for the area previously identified in the Needs Assessment, the next step in the planning process for the region is to commence work on the IRRP. Details on the engagement on the development of the IRRP will be available in the coming weeks.
