Posting of Final Scoping Assessment and Terms of Reference for Windsor-Essex Region

A final Scoping Assessment Outcome Report and Terms of Reference for the Windsor-Essex Region Integrated Regional Resource Plan (IRRP) is now posted on the IESO’s Windsor-Essex Region webpage. The finalization of the document follows a two week comment period, with responses to comments received also posted there.
As mandated by the Ontario Energy Board, the IESO is required to work collaboratively with Local Distribution Companies and Transmitters to complete a Scoping Assessment Outcome Report as part of the regional planning process. With needs for the area previously identified in the Needs Assessment, the next step in the planning process for the region is to commence work on the IRRP. Details on the engagement on the development of the IRRP will be available in the coming weeks.
