SAC agenda now available for August 23 meeting

The Agenda for the August 23 Stakeholder Advisory Committee (SAC) meeting is now available on the SAC webpage. Meeting materials will follow shortly.
Agenda items will invite input and discussion on a number of IESO initiatives including the Conservation Framework Mid-Term Review and the Market Renewal program. Members and attendees will also receive updates on a number of IESO business items including the IESO business planning process and activities within Conservation, the Smart Metering Entity as well as updates on a number of current engagement initiatives.
The IESO is also pleased to welcome Michael Cleland, Senior Fellow with the Positive Energy Project at the University of Ottawa. Mr. Cleland will speak about the research paper entitled System Under Stress: Energy Decision-Making in Canada and the Need for Informed Reformand invite discussion from attendees to support the University’s efforts to determine how to strengthen public confidence in energy decision-making.
The meeting is open to all interested parties and is being held in downtown Toronto from 9:00 am (registration opens at 8:30 am) to 12:00 pm. To register, send an email to engagement@ieso.ca indicating whether you would like to attend the SAC meeting in person or participate via teleconference.
