2018 Regional Electricity Forums
These full day forums are an opportunity to bring together a cross section of community and business audiences representing municipal, Indigenous communities, local distribution companies, energy services and associations to explore the future direction of the electricity sector.
Building upon last year’s dialogue and learnings, the 2018/2019 forums will explore how the unique characteristics of each community can factor into regional and broader provincial electricity planning.
New to this year’s events, the IESO will host informational open houses on the eve of the forums to provide information about Ontario’s electricity system and market. The open houses will also be a good opportunity to network among a diverse group of attendees in the region.
