Update on upcoming changes to Adequacy and System Status Reports

March 17, 2016

The IESO has been engaged with stakeholders on shaping changes to the adequacy reports – including the System Status Reports and Security and Adequacy Assessments, among others. The Adequacy Reporting engagement has provided an avenue to review these reports and the proposed changes to ensure clear and transparent data is being delivered to the market in a timely manner.

This engagement is now approaching the completion of its enhancement design phase. A webinar will be held to provide a general overview of the progress on the initiative, as well as provide important next steps in the testing and implementation of the enhancements. Participation will be sought to test the functionality of the new reports prior to the go live early this summer.

All interested parties are encouraged to participate in the Adequacy Reporting webinar on April 7 from 1:00 – 3:00 pm. To register for this information webinar send an email to engagement@ieso.ca.

Visit the Adequacy Reporting engagement for more information and the progress to date.
