Beacon has been permanently discontinued for Feed-in-Tariff (FIT) contracts.

Suppliers should initiate all requests (i.e. Assignments, Changes of Control, Secured Lender, etc.) by emailing FIT.Contract@ieso.ca.

Please note, this change only applies to FIT contracts. microFIT contract counterparties will continue to use Beacon to access, view and manage microFIT contracts.

Beacon is a tool that the IESO introduced in 2019. Beacon is used to view contract information, manage contractual obligations, and send and receive notifications for existing FIT contracts. If you require assistance, please email us at FIT.Contract@ieso.ca.

As of March 2, 2022, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is mandatory for all Beacon users. New users will be required to configure MFA during registration. Existing users will be prompted to configure MFA during their next log in.
